Puzzle Collection (June 2014)

I’ve received tons of requests to put together a video showcasing my puzzle collection. I’ve resisted for a while, since I frankly don’t find it that interesting to watch someone talk — and for thirty minutes at that!?! — about their puzzles. But, as one subscriber noted, I do have a few unique cubes in the collection. So, why not? Here’s a video of my puzzle collection as of June 2014:

And here are some interesting posts related to some of the puzzles I highlighted:

For a while I did have an embedded Google doc linked from the “puzzle collection” icon at the top of the sidebar. That was sort of interesting for me in the beginning as I was buying a lot of different cubes and testing them. At this point, I’ve given away so many of those cubes that it’s become quite stale. (As has the “solve times” page.) I’ll update the collection page to include this video and an inventory of the cubes I have in the various locations around my house and at work. I don’t really have “mains” (as such), but more cubes strategically placed where I tend to find myself cubing. As I update/rotate those, I’ll update the puzzle collection page.

Where did you buy all your plastic boxes for your puzzles in the desk? (around 7:30)

I get them from The Cube Specialists in German (link).

I wish there were a domestic vendor, and I have a message into The Cubicle asking if they’ll think about stocking them.
